To challenge clinical habits that have left the public with the impression that healing has to be complicated
To normalize human needs for connection, evolution, and personal sovereignty
Clarity is what we feel when we are living in alignment with the deeper truths we carry
Anxiety is what we experience when we separate ourselves from our truth
I am consciously aware that the systemic lens defaults to cis-hetero as dominant over pluralism, intersectionality, and heterarchy
I have a radar for internalized messaging of hierarchical and dominant-centric origins
As a practitioner, I occupy a non-Western depathologizing position in my active listening, witnessing, and responding
I offer a person-centered, strengths-focused approach to reclaiming personal sovereignty and wholeness
There is life after trauma I am a living example of this As are my clients
Healing welcomes in the lived experience and energies that are ready and waiting to be expressed and embodied
If your paradigm for doing life isn’t fitting who you are, you can feel it. You can also feel the difference when it does.
I hold a container with the capacity for multi-layering human themes including: ADHD AuDHD as Brain Diversity (neurodiversity is not a divergence)
Identities Impacted by Oppression
Multicultural, Systemic, and Ancestral Trauma
Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversity
Toxic Shame vs. Healthy Shame (Shame is both a primary emotion and a freeze state that must be skillfully managed in the ways it shows up as a normal part of human interactions.)
I partner well with: Artists, Creatives, Engineers, Performers Expansive Minds High-Sensory High-Emotional Intelligence High-Empathy Wounded Healers and Therapists
The issue is not whether or not one has or doesn’t have trauma. Trauma is not a label nor a measuring stick. It’s just a word that means a behavioral adaptation formed around whatever you were surviving for a time but now that adaptation gets in the way of your flow.
You don’t have to keep letting it
You made it this far. I offer a neuroexperiential frame (David Grand) for real-time processing in which you have choice and control. Through dual-attunement, neural activation and reintegration spontaneously reveals what IS, and whatever is ready to emerge organically leads the process one moment at a time. This is similar to other forms of expression like art, dance, music, acting, sports, singing, songwriting, culinary improvisation, etc.
You don’t need to “know” what something is in order for it to heal. And there are aspects of ourselves we cannot see and yet, as parts of us, they are real.
In Western terminology, common ailments and stuck points I help people with include:
Perfectionism High-demand performance People-pleasing Imposter syndrome Over-thinking and intellectualizing Harsh inner critic Chronic anxiety Chronic pain Sleep disruption Social anxiety Fear of rejection Codependency Decision paralysis Stress management Hidden and passed-down trauma Prenatal trauma Toxic relationships Family separation Attachment wounds Life satisfaction Modern dating Post-production lows Life transitions
